The system relief valve brings added value to the Caretaker system by offering additional protection to the pool pump and filter should high pressure develop. (High pressure could develop in the event that all manual gate valves are inadvertently shut).

This is a Replacement 30# Pressure Relief Valve for Polaris Caretaker Five Port System. It must be installed on ALL Caretaker In Floor Cleaning Systems for safety reasons.
