Changing Cleaning Heads
The cleaning head must be in the full down position before removal.
- Attach the Head Removal Tool to the pool pole.
- Snap tool into the head.
- Turn counterclockwise to release head from collar. (threaded caretaker heads are a reverse thread so turn it opposite direction "CLOCKWISE")
- Pull and lift head out of collar.
- Reinstall cleaning head into pool floor by turning it clockwise (counterclockwise for threaded caretaker heads)
- Lift straight up to release head
This tool is necessary for vinyl caretaker cleaning heads!
